Theo was drafted by the Flames at the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, and played over 1,000 games in the NHL between 1989 and 2003. Theo is not known not just for his electrifying career in the NHL though, but also for his courageous journey off the ice.
Theo has turned his personal battles with trauma, addiction, and recovery into a powerful message of resilience and leadership.
